The men's lacrosse team, the Pioneers dominated the second half of his first game of the season after a slow start, they managed a convincing victory 10-5 over the Nittany Lions of Penn State in State College. Only by being recognized for the achievements of the past seasons, the Pioneers have scored some pre-season achievements. The Pioneers were also elected by a poll of coaches to be champions again GWLL. With 27 players returning from last year's squad, the Pioneers are looking to improve their success in 2006 with a rotation full of the best teams in the country. The Pioneers will play against previous winners such as the University of North Carolina, Stoney Brook University, the University of Notre Dame, Ohio State University and Duke University.
